It may say "housing" in our name, however RainCity Housing and Support Society is about so much more than a warm, dry place to stay. Every day we provide housing, support programs, and build relationships with over 2000 people throughout British Columbia's Lower Mainland and Sunshine Coast, and help create more options in people’s lives.

Everyone we meet has a unique story. Listening to these stories has taught us not to judge, to replace stereotypes with open hearts, and to live generously. If someone is on the street, it’s because it’s the safest or only option they have. That’s why our team works tirelessly to build connections with people that are inclusive and reciprocal, while creating spaces where people can be safe, respected and heard.

We believe that every person deserves a home – and have built our organization over the last four decades around compassion, purpose, and innovation.
